Project Background The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) aims to support the economic development of The Gambia and improve the livelihoods of its people. Specifically, the YEP will enhance the employability and self-employment opportunities for youth, with a focus on vocational training and the creation of micro and small-sized enterprises and creating and improving employment opportunities in selected sectors through value addition and internationalization. The project is implemented by International Trade Centre (ITC) as the lead implementing agency and under the leadership of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration & Employment (MOTIE) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The project is funded by the European Union Emergency Trust Fund for stability and addressing root causes of irregular migration and displaced persons in Africa. The Gambia Investment and Export Promotions Agency (GIEPA) is the agency responsible for the Empretec Program in the Gambia and since its installation in 2014, the Empretec Program under GIEPA has made substantial strides in developing the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Key among these is the qualification and certification of 12 trainers in 2016. Following this milestone, the Empretec Centre continued to pursue the certification of 4 trainers to international level and in February, 2020, these four Gambia trainers attained the International Master Trainer status. This is one of the most important milestones in the history of Empretec in The Gambia. Following the certification of these International Master Trainers in Nigeria, the trainers were also trained on the UNCTAD Empretec new methodology. This new methodology is having a lot of new inclusions such as the Business Model Canvass, Design Thinking and ECO-Innovation as well as changes in most of the modules.

Scope of Work

The service provider will work under the direct supervision of Business Development Service Manager at GIEPA and overall guidance of the YEP Project Coordinator. S/he to produce a one-minute promotional video as well as a 3-minute video of the ToT that will be conducted on the new methodology. The video will available both online as well as through social media and selected application like WhatsApp.

General Requirements of the Firm

Must be a professional Media production and advertising Firm or photographer.
Must have capacity and experience in doing similar assignments in the past.
Must demonstrate ability to complete and deliver assignment within specific timeframe and budget as agreed.
Must ensure best picture quality

Duration

One (1) month of engagement

Terms and Conditions of payment

The service provider to send a technical and financial proposal that include cost for all the services mentioned
Service will be paid upon completion of the videos and with approval from GIEPA/ITC

Submission and Deadline

All technical and financial proposal should be submitted to yep@intracen.org with the subject “Video Production Empretec TOT” on or before the 31^stJuly, 2020. Candidates whose proposal are considered will be further contacted.
